Kitchen-Fall Decor

Will it ever end?  The Fall decorating?  I hope not!!!  I'm loving it.  The weather felt like Fall all weekend.  Hub kept saying..."it's going to rain"...and I kept saying..."nope, just Fall weather"!!  It was cool and breezy all weekend.  The afternoons got up to their usual Georgia temps...but I'll take what I can get after this hot summer.

I did manage to get in some thrifting on Sunday.  I found a few things that I had been looking at recently that was still there....which means...it was mine to have....right?  and a couple of really good finds to add to my Fall decor.

I was able to finally find the arrangement in Hobby Lobby on Saturday that I have been looking for to put in a wicker vase I found a few weeks ago.  I absolutely love it!!  Hobby Lobby has already started marking down their Fall decor.  It was very hard to resist.  Big Lots had a few shelves with 50% off on some Fall decor.  I'm waiting for the big clearance sale and then I plan to get some more garland.    I've been tweaking my fireplace.  I've added a few things here and there.  I wasn't totally satisfied with the orange pumpkin as the centerpiece and brought in a couple of items from the kitchen.  I also need to show you my kitchen table.  It's pretty simple, but I'm satisfied.  This table is used three times a day and I'm not into moving Fall decor constantly from the table when we use it.

Okay...here we go...this is what I've done with some more Fall Decor...some changes and some really neat finds.

Here's the kitchen table.  I found the arrangement at Goodwill...added some flowers and a pumpkin to it and I think it turned out rather nicely!  The 2 metal candle holders are a last years find at a sidewalk sale downtown.  $1 each!  So this entire centerpiece was around $5 for everything.

This pic is of a white bowl I found yesterday at Goodwill for $2.99.  I almost did not get this!  I'm so glad I did.  As I was scanning the shelves I noticed an unopened container of Fall nuts, leaves and other stuff ($.99).  I added a small orange pumpkin($1 from Big Lots) to this arrangement and it turned out great.  This cost me $5.  I'll also be using this bowl at Christmas!
Then...this has been speaking to me for weeks.   Apparently, no one wanted it.  I grabbed it for $2.99.  It's on a plate hanger above my sink.  I love biscotti!  My mother in law makes the best biscotti I've ever had!

I've been staring at my fireplace.  The orange pumpkin in the center just didn't do it for me.  So...look what I brought in from the kitchen to give it a different look.

I moved my white roo and my white pumpkin to the centerpiece.  It sorta pops out more than the orange pumpkin to me.  I also added some pinecones, nuts and a couple of pumpkins in the mixture.  I swear I'm done now!!

I moved my orange pumpkin to finish out the Fall look on top of my TV hutch.
I know....it needs garland....I know.  Sighs.

That's what I've done so far with the Fall Decor throughout the house.  A hint here and there to remind everyone of the upcoming season.

Just wait until you see what Goodwill and Hobby Lobby created for me.  Next post!!!
