Christmas 2011

FINALLY!  It took the entire weekend...but I'm done.  I've just got a few minor details to take care of  before I can say completely done.  It was an exhausting ordeal.  My age really showed this weekend.  If I did not have Hannah's help, I don't think I would have made it!  She was even exhausted at one point and just sat on the living room floor and handed me the ornaments.  We were both determined to get the job done.

So...here we go...I'm not going to show you everything in this post...but I think I'll start with the family room.

Here's a pic of a couple of my Santa's on the mantel.  I've had the nutcrackers for several years now and they always find a place on my mantle.

Our stockings are very plentiful as you can see.  Each one came from JC Penney and it seems we keep adding more and more each year!  Which is a good thing!
This Santa came from Big Lots years ago.  He has been moved all over the house and this year finds himself as the centerpiece on the mantle.

The smaller ceramic Santa was a Thrift Store find this year.  The other Santa is an actual tree topper.  This Santa has been used for over 18 years.
The final result of my Santa mantle.  I actually had to do this twice.  I had to many Santa's and it looked very crowded at first, so I changed it up a bit and for now, I'm satisfied.

To think this is just the mantle...so much more to show you in the family room!!
Here's a peek at the Christmas Tree.....

Can we say there are Elve's in the kitchen??!  I can't wait for the next Christmas post!!
